Few H-1B workers transition to green cards via PERM: Nasscom

Nasscom said Indian IT firms have limited reliance on the PERM process for moving H-1B employees to permanent residency, after the US stopped accepting new PERM applications from TCS, Infosys, Wipro and HCLTech. TCS reported single-digit PERM filings over two years and plans to hire 15,000 people in the US over five years.
