Samsung Foundry to Build Anthropic AI ASIC on 2 nm Node

Anthropic is developing a custom AI accelerator on Samsung's SF2 2 nm node, with Broadcom handling the design. The chip targets around 4,000 TOPS of INT8 compute at 1,300 W TDP, with 192 GB or 288 GB of HBM3E, and initial production of about 200,000 units.
