WhatsApp for Android tests a dedicated Contacts tab

A beta version of WhatsApp for Android adds a dedicated Contacts tab in the navigation bar. It shows the contact list, who is online via a green dot, birthday reminders, search by name, number or username, and an invite-a-friend option.

• Contacts tab appears in the WhatsApp for Android navigation bar
• A green dot marks contacts available to chat right now
• Search by name, number or username plus sorting by activity
• Bottom of the tab links to a Meta AI chat and friend invites
