Antora plans 5.8 GWh thermal battery for Kansas ethanol plant
Antora Energy announced a 5.8 GWh thermal battery project for Pratt Energy's biorefinery in Pratt, Kansas. The system stores electricity as heat in solid carbon blocks and will supply the plant under a long-term heat offtake agreement starting in 2027. Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners led the equity financing, joined by Grok Ventures and University Pension Plan Ontario.
