3D-Printed Filter Removes Up to 90% of Microplastics From Water

Researchers at Drexel University developed a multi-layer 3D-printed PLA filter with polyethylene glycol that removes up to 90% of micro- and nanoplastics from water. Pores form by etching away PEG with hot water at 80°C.
