Android Auto finally gets YouTube, but video only plays while parked
Google has added official YouTube support to Android Auto, but video plays only when the car is parked or charging, with the system checking GPS, speed and gear position. It requires a phone on Android 17 and a supported vehicle, starting with BMW, Ford, Hyundai, Kia, Mercedes-Benz, Renault, Škoda and Volvo.
