Android Auto may drop Android 10 support, raising minimum to Android 11
Users on Android 10 are receiving warnings that Android Auto will soon stop working on their phones, hinting Google may raise the wired minimum requirement to Android 11. Google has not announced the change, and its support pages still list Android 9 Pie as the minimum. Support for Android 8 Oreo was dropped in 2022, with the minimum moved to Android 9 in 2024.
