Android Auto gets full redesign with widgets, 3D maps and Gemini

Google promises Android Auto a full-screen interface, widgets, 3D maps and a smarter Gemini, but update 17.8 ships without them. The features arrive "later this year"; Gemini Nano v3 needs a flagship chip and at least 12GB of RAM.
