AWS launches Well-Architected Agent for architecture reviews

On October 1, 2026, AWS opened a public preview of Well-Architected Agent, which continuously analyzes accounts and returns cost, security, resilience and performance recommendations with ready fixes. A profile supports up to 100 accounts, first recommendations arrive within 24 hours, and an AWS Support plan is required.

• Reads configs across 65+ services, metrics and topology via read-only roles
