Deutsche Aircraft opens D328eco assembly line in Leipzig
Deutsche Aircraft inaugurated its final assembly line for the 40-seat D328eco turboprop at Leipzig/Halle Airport, backed by roughly €100 million. It is Germany's first regional aircraft assembly line in 24 years and the first credible Western challenger to ATR's monopoly above 40 seats. EASA and FAA certification is targeted by end-2027, with entry into service in Q4 2027.
