Applied Materials and Besi expand partnership at EPIC Center

Applied Materials and BE Semiconductor Industries (Besi) expanded their strategic partnership: Besi joined Applied's EPIC Center in Silicon Valley as an Innovation Partner and extended a joint development program launched in 2020. The collaboration moves beyond hybrid bonding into new interconnect architectures for AI systems. The EPIC Center represents a $5 billion investment.
