Applied Materials Commits $5 Bn to Boost India’s Semiconductor Ecosystem

Applied Materials announced a $5 billion (₹47,980 crore) investment under the India Vision 2035 program at SEMICON India 2026. The funds over 10 years will go to R&D, a 140-acre research park, and a tenfold growth of the local supply chain by 2035.
