Tech Workers Made ChatGPT Drive a Toyota Corolla

A San Francisco group called DrivingBench hooked GPT-6 Astra, Claude Fable 5.1, Grok 4.6 and GPT-5.6 Sol up to a Toyota Corolla, giving the LLMs control of steering, accelerator and brakes. On a cone course in a public parking lot only GPT-6 Astra completed the route; the other models drove just a few meters. Code, prompts and videos were published online.
