Cloudflare Adds Configurable HTTP Vary Header Support to Prevent Cache Thrashing

Cloudflare has rolled out native HTTP Vary header support across its global edge network for all plans, including Free. Cache Rules now offer three actions — normalise, pass through and bypass — to curb cache fragmentation; an audit of 120 million responses found nearly 3,000 origins varied on four or more request headers.
