iOS 27 adds Impersonation Risk Detection scam-prevention feature to iPhone

iOS 27 introduces Impersonation Risk Detection, which identifies signs of active fraud in real time and passes a risk level to the app. The feature is off by default and can be enabled in Privacy & Security settings.

• Feature analyzes device and Apple Account data, returns risk level
• Risk levels: Unknown, Medium and High; app decides action
• App receives only the risk level, not underlying data
• Enabled in Settings, Privacy & Security, Impersonation Risk Detection
