KDE ships second Plasma 6.8 beta as Plasma 6.9 takes shape

KDE released the second beta of Plasma 6.8 with UI polish and bug fixes ahead of the final release on October 14. Meanwhile, the first changes for Plasma 6.9, scheduled for February 23, 2027, are already landing.
