TSMC OIP: Chip industry revenue to hit $1.7T by year-end

At its North America OIP Technology Symposium, TSMC said worldwide semiconductor revenue will reach about $1.7 trillion by the end of the year, with more than $1 trillion coming from AI alone. The forecast aligns with Gartner's ~$1.6 trillion estimate for 2026. TSMC's own January-to-August revenue rose 39.3% year over year.
