GDDR7 roadmap may add 4GB and 6GB chips within two years

New GDDR7 packages could reach 32Gb and 48Gb densities (4GB and 6GB per chip) between 2027 and 2028, up from today's 16Gb and 24Gb, according to a Golden Pig report. Memory vendors have not confirmed any roadmap details, and speeds, process nodes and pricing remain unknown.
