GDDR7 expansion: 4GB and 6GB chips planned for 2027-2028
According to Golden Pig Upgrade, new 4GB and 6GB GDDR7 memory chips will arrive in 2027 or 2028. Today only 2GB and 3GB modules are available, limiting VRAM options; the GDDR7 standard supports up to 8GB capacities and 48 Gbps speeds.
