L3Harris wins $139M for 360° infrared masts on US nuclear submarines

L3Harris has secured a $139 million follow-on contract from the U.S. Navy to supply Low-Profile Mast imaging systems for Virginia- and Columbia-class submarines. The telescoping masts use HD and infrared cameras to give crews a 360-degree view instead of traditional hull-penetrating periscopes.
