Hyundai: Solid-State Batteries Will Reach Cars Within Five Years

Hyundai Motor Group R&D chief Manfred Harrer said small-volume cars with solid-state batteries should hit the market within five years. He said the technology cannot be abandoned, but high raw material costs will keep it out of the mass market for years.
