VAST Data launches DataEnclave for confidential AI model execution

VAST Data announced DataEnclave, a confidential AI runtime within the VAST AI Operating System built on NVIDIA Confidential Computing. It lets models from Cohere, Deepgram, Factory, Fundamental, NVIDIA and TwelveLabs run against sensitive enterprise data with hardware isolation and cryptographic attestation.

• DataEnclave uses third-generation NVIDIA Confidential Computing on Hopper, Blackwell and Rubin
• Models and data stay encrypted in CPU, GPU memory and NVLink traffic during processing
• Customer data keys stay with customers, model weights with their builders
• Deploys inside customer data centres or trusted cloud hardware
