Cohere and Aleph Alpha detail $20B transatlantic sovereign AI merger

Cohere and Aleph Alpha have shared new details of their merger to create the first transatlantic sovereign AI giant. Announced in April with German and Canadian government backing, the deal is expected to close later this year, with dual headquarters in Berlin and Toronto, a combined valuation of about $20 billion and more than 1,000 staff.
