AMD details next-gen EPYC 9006 Venice with Zen 6 for servers

AMD has outlined its EPYC 9006 (Venice) server CPU lineup built on Zen 6, with Zen 6 and Zen 6c chiplets on TSMC's 2nm node. Dense chips scale to 256 cores, up to 384MB of L3 cache, 16 memory channels and MRDIMM support up to 12,800 MT/s.

• Zen 6 chips reach 96 cores at 5.0GHz; Zen 6c tops out at 4.1GHz
• L3 cache up to 384MB on Zen 6 and up to 1024MB on dense parts
