Netherlands and EOS to build 100-kW laser to destroy drone swarms

The Dutch Ministry of Defence signed a Letter of Intent with Australia's Electro Optic Systems to develop a deployable high-energy laser weapon based on the 100-kW-class Apollo system for countering drones and drone swarms. The system can engage 20–50 drones per minute, with potential production in the Netherlands.
