US military orders 4,000 Kiwi one-way attack drones with single-operator swarm control

Swarm Defense Technologies has received a US Department of War order for 4,000 Kiwi one-way attack drones, valued at a minimum of $25 million including munitions. The award came under the Drone Dominance Program after the second Gauntlet competition at Fort Carson, Colorado. Production will take place at the company's 40,000-square-foot facility in Auburn Hills, Michigan.
