BAE delivers two AMPV 30 vehicles to US Army with 30mm turret and counter-drone kit

BAE Systems has handed the US Army two AMPV 30 infantry fighting vehicle prototypes built on the AMPV chassis, pairing a Kongsberg 30mm remote turret with counter-drone systems and cross-platform target handoff. The vehicles were delivered in April under the Transformation in Contact 2.0 initiative and were developed in six months using $17 million of company R&D funds.
