Northrop tests new 50mm round for Raid Hunter air defense system to stop drone swarms

Northrop Grumman conducted an aeroballistic test of a new 50mm round for the Raid Hunter short-range air defense system, firing from an XM913 Chain Gun. Almost every shot provided accurate flight data that matched the company's predictions. The next stage is a guided round with a proximity fuze against drones and cruise missiles.
