MeitY plans to expand DigiLocker into finance, education and health sectors

India's MeitY, through NeGD, issued a Request for Empanelment to integrate DigiLocker into private sectors including banks, insurers, educational institutions and healthcare firms. Empanelled agencies must comply with the DPDP Act, keep auditable logs and host infrastructure in India; responses are due by October 10, 2026.
