Airtel & TRAI push cross-platform and sectoral signal sharing to fight spam and fraud

India's regulator TRAI and operator Airtel proposed sharing data on fraudulent signals among telecom, messaging apps, and banks. Airtel analyzed over 1 trillion records and flagged 2.5 billion calls and 1.5 billion SMS as suspicious.
