Vaishnaw cautions industry about cyberattacks targeting India's growing chip sector

India's Electronics and IT Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw said the country's semiconductor growth may be perceived as a threat and urged the industry to prepare for cyberattacks and disruptions. The Cabinet approved Semicon 2.0 with a 1.27 trillion rupee budget; 12 projects worth 1.64 trillion rupees were approved in the first phase.
