Vatican turns its AI campaign into permanent AI4Peace body

The AI4Peace symposium on AI and conflict opened Monday at the Pontifical Lateran University in Rome with a message from Pope Leo XIV read by Don Andrea Ciucci. The event ends Tuesday with the formal founding of the permanent AI4Peace International Association, and on Friday the Pope will speak at UNESCO.
