Waze disables police reports in Switzerland and Liechtenstein

In August 2026 Waze turned off police incident reporting in Switzerland and Liechtenstein to comply with the Swiss Federal Act on Road Traffic. Article 98a bans devices that hinder official road traffic monitoring, so speed camera reports are disabled in the region as well.
