macOS Golden Gate: what's gone and what's next in macOS 28

macOS Golden Gate is the first macOS release to run only on Apple silicon, with Intel Macs limited to macOS Tahoe and security updates through fall 2028. Apple dropped Boot Camp, AFP, Time Capsule support and AirPort Utility, while Rosetta 2 gets its last full release: in macOS 28 (fall 2027) most Rosetta-dependent apps won't open.
