Google launches Gemini 3.8 Live with animated avatars in 97 languages

Google has made Gemini 3.8 Live with Live Avatar generally available in Gemini Enterprise, adding real-time lip-synced video personas for business use. The system supports multimodal input, 97 languages, asynchronous tool calling and invisible SynthID watermarking, with endpoints live in the US and EU.
