Databricks acquires Seattle startup Row Zero for AI spreadsheet push

Databricks has acquired Seattle-based Row Zero, which builds high-performance spreadsheets for massive enterprise datasets. The technology will be integrated into the Databricks platform and its Genie AI assistant; deal terms were not disclosed. Row Zero was founded in 2021 by former AWS engineers and had raised a $10 million Series A.
