SiPearl ships first Rhea1 CPU samples to Bull for Jupiter exascale supercomputer

French chip designer SiPearl has delivered the first Rhea1 CPU samples to Bull, which has begun integrating them into its BullSequana XH3000 platform, the basis for Europe's first exascale supercomputer, Jupiter. The 6nm chip packs 80 Arm Neoverse V1 cores and four stacks of HBM2E.

• Rhea1 has 80 Arm Neoverse V1 cores on TSMC's 6nm N6 process
• Four HBM2E stacks and four DDR5 interfaces
• Jupiter is Europe's first exascale system; its Booster ranks fifth on Top500
• The delivery is the first order and first significant revenue for SiPearl
