Apple Watch to get all-day ambient audio recording via S11 chip

Apple is preparing Audio Intelligence for new Apple Watch models: the S11 chip with a Secure Exclave will continuously process ambient audio for Siri Recap, Live Rewind, Sound Recognition and Shazam. The features are opt-in and will arrive in beta later this year, but raise bystander-consent and data-retention concerns.

• Siri Recap generates conversation summaries, auto-deleted after 7 days unless saved
