Meta shipped 81% of AI glasses as market grew 127% to 4.2M units

Omdia says global AI glasses shipments rose 127% year on year to 4.2 million units in the first half of 2026, with Meta accounting for 3.4 million, or 81.3%. Even Realities took second place with 102,000 camera-free G2 glasses, a 2.4% share. The US held 53.7% of shipments and mainland China 12.3%.
