AMD adds GDDR7 support to Linux drivers ahead of RDNA 5
AMD has updated its open-source Linux graphics driver with support for GDDR7 memory, a first for Radeon GPUs. The patches also add IH 8.0, NBIF 7.10 and DCN 6 blocks, signalling preparation for the RDNA 5 architecture expected to power next-gen PlayStation and Xbox consoles.
