Google to report CSAM cases directly to Indian authorities

Google confirmed it will report suspected child sexual abuse material (CSAM) linked to India directly to Indian law enforcement, removing the previous step through US-based nonprofit NCMEC. Meta had already agreed to a direct reporting process, following pressure from Indian officials to speed up action in cases involving children.
