UK to launch National Centre for Information Defence against disinformation

PM Andy Burnham announced a new National Centre for Information Defence to detect, attribute and disrupt information attacks by hostile states such as Russia. The centre will bring together intelligence agencies, law enforcement and social media companies; Russia spends around £1.3bn a year on information manipulation.
