US employers use software to punish workers at 16 times the European rate
An OECD survey of 6,047 companies in six countries found 67% of US firms use software to sanction poor performance versus 4% in Europe. 55% of US companies monitor message content and tone, compared to 6% in Europe. The gap is attributed to regulatory architecture, not adoption levels.
