OpenAI, Anthropic, Google and xAI sued over alleged pact to slow AI development

Four consumers filed a class-action antitrust lawsuit in the US District Court for the Northern District of California on September 18. They allege OpenAI, Anthropic, Google and SpaceXAI coordinated to slow frontier AI development, and seek treble damages and an injunction. The proposed class covers US paid subscribers to ChatGPT, Claude, Grok and Gemini.
