Nordic demos Bluetooth HDT in silicon

Nordic Semiconductor has demonstrated the upcoming Bluetooth High Data Throughput (HDT) feature in silicon via a video demo. HDT uses longer packets to speed up data transfer in wearables, smart home devices and hearing aids while keeping Bluetooth LE energy efficiency. The Bluetooth SIG expects to release the specification in late 2026, and Nordic will show it at electronica 2026 in Munich.
