KDE Plasma 6.8.2 released with more KWin and Wayland fixes

The KDE Project released Plasma 6.8.2 on October 27, 2026, a week after 6.8.1 and two weeks after the 6.8 anniversary release. Most fixes target KWin, including multi-GPU buffer synchronization, display handling, color pipelines and window stacking, plus disappearing desktop icons, launcher behavior, remote desktop and screen recording.
