Italian privacy regulator approves national IT-Wallet digital ID plan

Italy's Garante per la protezione dei dati personali approved the technical and architectural plan for the country's EUDI Wallet implementation without requesting changes. Data processors must designate owners for user rights requests, and those handling biometrics need safeguards beyond the DPIA.
