TSMC to start A14 mass production in 1H 2028

TSMC plans to begin mass production on its A14 process node in the first half of 2028, following risk production in 2H 2027. A14 capacity is expected to be 7.5x that of Intel's 14A, and SRAM bit cells will shrink from 0.021µm² to under 0.017µm² for the first time in eight years.
