First Ascend 950DT 1,024-NPU SuperPoD cluster goes live in Wuhan

The first computing cluster built on Huawei's Ascend 950DT 1,024-card SuperPoD has been switched on in Wuhan. The project took one month from kickoff to power-on; the system delivers 1 EFLOPS of FP8 compute and 256TB of unified memory with fully liquid-cooled compute and interconnect cabinets.
