Woori Bank and Samsung take Samsung Wallet Money global

Woori Bank and Samsung Electronics launched overseas payments via Samsung Wallet Money: since October 26 users can pay at WeChat Pay merchants in China and across Mastercard's network in 210 countries. The service reached 3 million active users in a year, with Woori Bank accounts making up 42% of linked accounts.

• Galaxy payments work at over 150 million Mastercard locations in 210 countries
• In China it supports WeChat Pay QR payments and table ordering
• Cashback is 0.5% offline and 1.5% online, up to 5.3% abroad until year-end
• No overseas transaction fees and no annual card fee
